The law regulates the juvenile justice system in the Kingdom with the aim of protecting children and ensuring their best interests. It defines a child as anyone under the age of eighteen, with the stipulation that those under fifteen years of age are not criminally liable. The law also establishes specialized courts to hear cases involving children, in addition to creating a Child Protection Center to receive reports and take the necessary measures for their protection and rehabilitation.
