The role of the Equal Opportunities Committee is to promote gender equality within and outside the Ministry. The Committee works to implement initiatives aimed at empowering women and enhancing their role in all fields, in cooperation with the Supreme Council for Women, thus contributing to achieving sustainable development. Through these initiatives, we strive to provide a stimulating work environment that supports gender balance and promotes women's participation in decision-making.
In line with the principle of partnership and cooperation among stakeholders to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, the Ministry of Legal Affairs has established an advanced mechanism for preparing and reviewing legislation and the Legislative Directives document, which has been approved by the esteemed Cabinet.
This mechanism aims to unify the legal vision and ensure legislative sustainability in the Kingdom of Bahrain by aligning it with best international practices. Through the preparation of comparative studies and the drafting of joint legal memoranda, the Ministry works to enhance the efficiency of government performance and ensure the integration of national efforts to build a stimulating and sustainable legislative environment.
